  • "New" truck

I picked up a new daily last week (2000 Blazer, 127K miles V6 auto, no wrecks, perfect interior) and promptly swapped over as many parts from my truck that I could. My FIL needs a little pick up and wanted it stock, cool with me!

    Getting busy!

    Blazer dropped and truck raised

Also swapped over mirrors after repainting them white and some billet pieces.

I still need to put a new stereo in (only has AM/Tape and blown speakers) and pull off the emblems. It also needs new shocks.

Mew still trying to sell it? It's a BIT out of my price range and I need a back seat!

Thanks dude, I'm enjoying it. I can toss the boy in the back and go cruising, he loves it.

He just decided to sell it again last week. Just put a couple kid holders back there with some fans and you would be good to go!

Yes. Well, lowered vehicles in general. I get the lowering of mustangs or other cars just to correct the aesthetics from the factory but lowering and slamming just doesn't make sense to me nor does it look good, IMO.

Refer to your avatar, I don't care for stock or lifted trucks.

I like it, but its not as low as the truck was.... and the wheel wells look bigger on the blazer or my mind is playing tricks on me.

Doesn't look like the Blazer has settled yet. Love those trucks, they can take a beating.

                            Time for an LS swap

Just curious, how much did it cost you? I looked for a while before I bought my truck and couldn't find one that was clean and wasn't priced stupid high.

Thats kinda what i was wondering, does a truck need to "settle" when you install a used suspension? I always thought it was the springs that "settled" and not the truck.
