I'm really just gunna see what the owner wants for it without the trans. I'd like to get it for around $500 but that may be wishful thinking.. Another thing is the truck is still in my name so I'll have to pay around $100 worth of parking tickets.

Tell him you will give him $100 less than you decide on because of the tickets!

Do you still have the title along with it in your name? If so it sounds like you have the advantage 10 fold.

The truck is in my name but I gave the title to the guy I sold the truck to years ago.. It cost $2 for me to get a lost title in Longview, and I've thought about that. I would much rather buy the truck legit

You call him yet? Looks like the hood, grill and bumper have been changed if that is your old truck.

I wouldn't want to do that either. Ask him if he has the title in the beginning of the call, if he says no then you can drop the bomb that it is in your name.

And I saw that the bumper hood and grill were all different as well as the cowl is gone. The truck also had a complete set of autometer gauges when I sold it. I bet they are looooong gone. The gauges and grill were my favorite parts on the truck. Also that cowl will be hard to match. When we painted the truck it was kinda of a little of this color and alittle of that color.. I called the red, DON'T SCRATCH IT CAN'T MATCH IT... lol

Yea I had the blazer bumper on the truck back in 2005. I like the blazer bumpers alot better tham the step bumpers.

I glanced inside, it might very well still have the gauges. I can go by next week if you need me to take some more detailed pics.

When I went to look at it, the wife ran out of the house like something was wrong. You should have seen the relief on her face when I asked "is the truck for sale?".... There is an 80's Blazer and 80's Z28 also in that back yard along with a back clip of a 1970 Nova. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some shady stuff going on back there from her reaction....

It would be awesome if the gauges are still there. I don't wanna ask anymore from you than I already have. I'm just suprised you found the truck!

If I can get him to a resonable price I'm gunna head to ft worth next weekend with my buddy and his car trailer. The thing that sux is I was just down there at pate and sold all the parts I took and came back with a empty 18 ft trailer.

Dude, I'm pretty good at finding all sorts of things. All it took was the lead of the parking ticket and a set of keen eyes. It's right where the ticket said it would be.

It's no trouble, but I can go back by on Tuesday.

Pate is in the hood. This isn't that bad, it's off of I35 and Felix. It's just a couple of blocks from the freeway.

I fogot to mention the VIN plate on the dash matches the registration.
