    • Hard to beat a '65 A990 car for low-key good looks.

      • My dad has had this car since I was born. It is a 1966 Hemi Satellite that has been brought back from the dead since it was parked in one of our showrooms and a driver ran through the glass and hit it:

It has since been brought back from the dead and now it looks and runs great!

        • Nice car. I love the crisp, tight lines of '66-67 b-bodies. My dad works with a guy that has a '67 GTX. It's not a real nice car, but it's not junk either. Man I want that thing.

Here's how I would want it, a Turbine Bronze 440 car with redlines.

          • Danny,

My Dad has always liked the '67 GTX as his favorite Mopar. His first new car was a '66 Coronet 383/727. I like the 69 A12 cars for their all-business look.(especially in black)

I like the Plymouth version better, with the correct wheels & redlines, this is the best I could find:

            • I remember when I was a kid, my uncle took me out to the street races. There was a chick there, she was pretty young as I remember (maybe 18-20) and she was driving a '69 Super Bee six pack car. It was that uglyass dark moss green color with the same uglyass moss green interior and it was a little rough. But seeing a hot girl get out of that Mopar with a big scoop and raucous idle left an impression!

That Road Runner runs in the nines just as it sits on those redline tires and all.

                • I have always liked Mopars. As a kid my dad always had Fords but my uncles had Mopars including a Hemi car.
This is my friend Jeffs car. Its one of three made by Dodge. Its a real Hemi P/S Colt that has been documented by the whole team that built the car when they work for Dodge. He also owns a few other Hemi cars and other assorted Mopars.
Sorry my pics are so bad.

Tom Hoover signed the valve covers and gave him copys of all the paper work on the car including plans and notes from when they were building the car.

They are cool to watch. I have got to see Lane Cary's 71 Mach 1 run a couple of times and its amazing. To hear that big 385 turning crazy rpms is unreal. I dont know how high he turns it but it has to be 7500. Probably one of my favorite classes but its huge money to play in that class. I cant imagine what it would cost to get a 429 to make 800 plus HP through a "stock" Carb, intake, heads and manifolds.
