How much do '68 R/T 440 Chargers go for?
Someone offered me theirs for 16k. No engine, but the rest of the car is very clean. Has lots of extra parts too (tail lights, trim, etc)

For a 16k roller,it better be nice! Yes they are worth some good money but curious how nice is it. What color is it? Fender tag still there?

Yup, fender tag is still there. It was restored (the guy has owned it for decades) a while back, but then he "blowed the motor up." He built a new engine for it, but feels too old to do anything with it now. Interior is perfect, paint is very clean, and the body is 100% straight.

If not, it's probably still worth it. Clean '68 big block Chargers trade in the $25-30k range all day long regardless of OEM configuration. If it was a factory big block car, add a premium to that.

Everyone is obviously entitled to their opinion but anyone that knows us up here knows we are not liars or "slick wheeler dealers". We are real car guys that love old cars and happen to be fortunate enough to make a living doing what we love.

Typically we do not sell "restored" cars but drivers that usually need a little TLC like most old, unrestored cars. We do get in some really nice stuff from time to time but we really try to fill a niche market of lowered priced drivers that regular guys can afford. We also do not restore cars, just sell them. And I will agree that we see all kinds of crazy stuff done to these cars but it is what it is. We could run up a huge bill trying to change everything and then price them right out of the market. Again we prefer to keep the prices down and let the customer decide what they want to spend the money on.

Now as for the statement about how many cars we sell, we usually carry about 160-190 cars in inventory , selling 40-60 a month. Last year in may we did sell 72, but typically the number averages around 50. Anyway we will be happy to help anyone if they have any questions, please feel free to PM me or come see us.

Long time no see John, I haven't been to your shop in a long time! You might recall our Gallardo test drive like 5-6 years ago! Wow how time flies! You still do any bike stuff? I'm back in Texas these days, I'll try and swing by sometime to (at least) say hi!

FWIW, my father owned a 69 Roadrunner 383, blue, white top, bought new. I have a dream to buy him one of those some day, or at the very least locate one. Maybe he'd loose his mind and buy another RR! Next time I visit, I'll see if I can bring him along.
