My pics from the EX275 race in Denton 4-12-4-13

I just got home from 2 full days of racing. This is some of the best small tire racing I have ever seen. The 275 class had 36 cars show up, with most going into the 4 second zone. There were a few index cars and that was it. The 275 cars had the track to themselves most of the time.

The first set of pics are from Friday 4-12. I had to cut pic taking short because I got rubber on the lense and didn't have a cleaning solution with me.

I am still learning this camera (Nikon D3200) but I think I did ok. I will post more tomorrow.

I felt this car deserved it's own post. This is by far the cleanest, simplest, and most attention to detail race car I have ever seen.

It's a 67 Camaro owned by Blake Catalanotto. The attention to detail and fit and finish of this car is second to none. They toasted the #2 piston during testing on Friday. They had a piston on hand to replace but on the 3rd and only qulaifying pass they did I assume it hurt something else again, so the car was loaded up. The car was going 4.70's-80's (if I recall) in testing on Firday.
