Man I miss that shit. The two places I used to race at are both shut down. The fast cars were never fun to me. I think two evenly slow slow cars that handled like shit was the most fun. You could really hang the ass end out.

Those things are crazy light and create a ton of downforce. I like the older ones better. I used to have one that was a soldered copper tube chassis with a Chaparal 2E body.

One of the best slot car places in the world is in our own backyard.

I wish it was a little closer... I'd be addicted to the damned things.

The corvette body I mastered that was being sold by Top End Miniatures set a few slot car records...does that count?

Big time RC racer. I miss the fun times I had doing it.

I was a frequent racecar driver at Action Speedway on Davis St. in Dallas. Myself, my brother and my Uncle would race H.O. scale and the 1/24th scale cars. I remember running in saying hi to Mr. Klink and hauling butt to the race tracks waiting on our Uncle to hurry up. My Uncle is hobbyist/ kid at heart, I'm sure he still has our old slotcars from back in those days.
