Mine was a 85 tercel. Fuel pump leaked no matter what I did. New. Off brand. Facory. It finally caught fire while in traffic one day.

Is was ecstatic. The cop and firemen couldn't understand why I was so happy. Didn't bother me at all.
Non tapatalk Sig so the butt hurt va-JJs can stop crying about not being able to turn it off.

I was too young and dumb to know how bad the festivas I had when I was 16 + 17 before I totalled them were. I kind of miss them but seeing one now makes me see what POS they were.
Of the cars I have paid for I look forward to the day I don't own my 79 Trans Am anymore.

So far, I have changed the BCM 4 times in an attempt to get the climate control working properly, still haven't accomplished that. I have changed the transmission on it, which required the purchase of a $300 impact gun because someone cranked the living dog shit out of the CV shaft nut. I broke two 1/2" breaker bars trying to get it off. The radio doesn't work right and now I am having to fix the A/C system....
Repeated BCM failure is from a bad alt. Chasing HVAC problems in that era Maxima with the auto climate is usually the $60 actuators. As for the axle nut, yeah they suck sometimes. I snapped a brand new Snap-On 1/2" drive big ass ratchets head in half on a 96 before. Cranked the tank to 150psi and used my pawn shop 1/2" IR impact on it and after 30 seconds it broke loose. They take like 262 ft-lbs to tighten properly if memory serves so they are a bitch to remove.

I have owned 15 different cars over the past 11 years howver fuck my fireturd

My 98 formula. Owned it for 4 years and sold it to pay for college, found it on Amarillo Craigslist 2 years ago and should never have bought it back. Literally everything that could break has. Now my 98z28 is the love of my life, but fuck this green car. Blown trans, blown headgasket, bad fuel pump assembly, bad 02's, cracked intake manifold, chattering rear end, seized ac compressor, paint bubbling, taillights have lost reflectivity inside, currently waiting to see if its going to spin a bearing

Also I fucking hate Dsm's and I have owned 5 of them. Will never ever ever own one again. The white one was cammed with a built trans and a 16g and nearly caught fire on the drive home from buying it. It was a basket case, literally the only thing good about it was that it made 260whp every other piece of the car was garbage. Couldn't idle right, which means the trans could t get into gear correctly, leaked oil everywhere including onto the down pipe causing it to smoke horrendously. The silver one snapped a timing belt after a month of owning it, had extremely low miles and it was cheap, had everything replaced by mitsu and the new timing belt tensioner failed so they replaced everything for free again. The other 3 Dsm's all had similar stories

I did the testing procedure from the Nissan FSM and narrowed it down to the BCM. I went to the junkyard and got 3 different units and I get the same issue, no power from the BCM to the mode door motor. The actuator works fine because I have seen it move before and the wiring is fine.

I have seen some axle nuts that were tight before, but nothing like this. My husky 750ftlbs 1/2" drive couldn't do it. Had to go buy a 3/4" drive 1500ftlbs impact and it still took heating it with a torch to break it loose. The transmission was easy, but the climate control has been handing me my ass.

Ben? Sounds like my Firehawk....I pretty much had it after the glue that held the fiberglass together started to fail....and the oil pump failed (at 90k)

This thing, I liked it but it was a POS. I bought it for $700 covered inside and out in filth, trans ground 3rd, ac inop, power seats inop, broken sunroof, worn out suspension, permanent check engine light and leaked oil. I fixed most of the issues and cleaned it up but it ate batteries and left me stranded at the airport at midnight with the wife and 1 year old. I sold it before I moved back to TX.

                        2000 Dakota R/T.

One Motor, Two Trans, Entire Steering Including Box, and one ring and pinion in 2 years of ownership. And the whole damn thing rattled.

My big block '87 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. Which is funny, since it is my namesake on this and other boards.

It was slow (7.99 @ 86 is all I ever got out of it) and I had to work on it all the time. The engine didn't fit worth a shit and it ran hot. It had manual steering and front runners so it really wasn't any good on the street. It was just a big, heavy turd that wasn't any fun to drive. I hated it when I bought it, worked on it a ton, drove it a handful of times, then sold it for a ridiculous loss - and was glad to see it go. Vaya con dios. I think Pro Trash has (or had) the car out in the Cedar Creek area. Hopefully he's had more fun with it than I ever did.

Probably my svt focus or my Durango r/t. The focus served its purpose, got decent mileage, but I just hated being in a small car that had jackshit for horsepower and was wrong wheel drive.

I bought the Durango while in Colorado because I wanted a cheap 4x4. It has been anything but. Mileage sucks balls, literally get 12mpg in mixed driving. Not to mention that I have put a ton of $ into repairs and have grown to truly hate Dodge products. For Christ's sake, the brake calipers are held on with torx screws that are damn near inaccessible.

If the goal of the government is public transportation, they should give a Dodge to everyone. After a year with a Dodge, everyone will gladly hop on a bus.

Yep, that was the last straw on that damned thing. I narrowed down to something internal, or the wrong flywheel on it, but I sure as shit wasn't going to pull the transmission to find it. I sold it for $1200, then about a month later I got a call from the Dallas police impound telling me that it was towed. I didn't want it back.
