Thanks! We actually love the color. That was a huge factor in it. It's not like a normal maroon, its called Crystal Red, and in the sun it glimmers.

No they only had 2 wagons on the lot, not V's. We wanted something AWD since we have bad winters here so the wagon would not have been a V anyways. And yeah I think the new '14s are changing the body style. Oh well, we really love this one and the features. We scored a great deal on it too since they are moving inventory. And BTW the 6.2 is no slouch from the factory. This thing moves.

22" Suv tires aren't as bad as you might think. When did they start putting 6.2s in the Escalades? I like the 07+ body style. I was in Florida a couple years ago and had one as a rental + a 2011 v6/auto Mustang. Both were way faster than I thought! I never missed an opportunity to drag race at stop lights, etc. No burnouts in the awd Escalade though .
