when I was 17 I had a Corolla wagon that would bounce pocket change (and/or beer cans) off of the roof with a giant 2x12" bandpass and a 2ohm bridged old school (new then) Orion 2150....it was cool, but now-a-days I wonder WTF I was thinking....especially on those days when I have to say "excuse me?", "what was that?", "come again?"

That's a competition I care zero about these days.....

Thank you! I had friends in HS that would take their stock cars and put two 12's in there and an aftermarket head unit and you wouldn't be able to hear shit as far as music goes. I replaced all the speakers in my mustang with infinity kappas, no subs, and could blare that shit and everything was crystal clear. White Pony sounded awesome in my car.

With my '85 Camero I glued a baffle board to the bottom half of the hatch area and with one 10 I was able to hit 100db. It was enough to tussle the mullet.

In HS I had a bug that had 4-15 in Petras DVC in a wall, 16-5 1/4 petras, two JBL titanium tweeters and roughly 1300 watts of Orion Reds pushing it. I actually broke the windshield once. It must have had defect or something but it was pretty cool when it happened. I want to say I had Metallica playing when it died. I also had a nice Blazer that had two pro cast 18's in it, two 12's in the wall, and 8 5 1/4's. That bastard hit so low on the test disc that everything in my moms house would rattle but you didn't hear anything. Ahhhh to be young and stupid again.

I drove around jamming the fuck out for 10 years and still have perfect hearing. I believe high pitch continuous sounds are more damaging to your hearing then bass. When the high pass would run on the test CD you had to get out of the car.

I had eleventy-billion wutts and 48 19" wooters in my civic yo! Lots of tweenters in the back too. One time I rode by wet n wild with it turned up like half way and it made the wave pool overflow and they had to shut down the park for like a week. Hell ya!

That plexi windshield looks like it is 1/4" thick. Awesome.

Finally some decent music at 2:18 although the system sounds like shit playing it.

I just don't get the whole distorted bass scene. I like my music loud but clean.
