Psshh, my two 10's do that easy. lol. I did DB my car and it hit 145.4, not too shabby. But that there is 155DB plus easily.

my old system with x2 12' jl audio w3 and a 500/1 did 145.3. before the contest i thought i was hitting 150 or more.

I've always been amazed at people who put those big ass systems in their cars. It's like, music aside, how the fuck do you not hear that sounding like absolute dog shit?? To each his own, I guess. A small 8 or 10 just to give a tad bit of low end bump is OK. Ghetto blasting your shit is just plain stupid.

It doesn't have to sound like shit just because it's big and loud. It just takes more money and work to accomplish both. I dig being louder than most of the big systems and sounding better than most of the smaller ones. It's just a hobby, and it attracts all types, on a much smaller scale than motorsports, in fact.

My buddy had a 96 Cobra with 3 JL audio 8W6s and 1 1K watt MBQuart amp feeding them, it would blurrr your vision. The guys that set it up did so for Rock music and it sounding fucking bad ass. The rest of the system was all MBquart speakers and had a separte 500 watt amp feeding the mids and highs. So you can have a bad system setup to do more than just boom goes the dynamite.
