Should have seen the dropoff onto the dirt road. like a 3 foot drop or so.

The drop off is about 8 feet off the road which is no different than any other street with a ditch on the side of it. The guy had help making it into the ditch. As I said, there is always risk involved with any type of racing.

Some people like to race regardless of the conditions. I give them credit for finding somewhere to run that wasn't through an intersection.

And the terrible accident that happened today, both drivers and family shaken up pretty good. The winner of the event ended up giving the malibu driver some money, and some other racers and spectators stepped up and threw in some money also. Hope to see both cars back soon.

Seems like he had plenty of time to stop and get out the way.
