Bled the brakes and put the new shoes on it yesterday. Trying to decide how much I'm going to lower it.

Tires were smoked and the wheels were scratched up. I've got another set of the 8-10 flat bars in storage and a set of 2012 round bars with new Michelins.

I've also got round bars on my other 08. I prefer the flat bars, but I'm too cheap to pay $200 for change-over.

My normal MO is buy a set of take-offs for $800-1200, put 20-30k on them, and sell them for what I've got in them.

These have 30 miles on them, and I got them cheap. I like the look for now. If I get a cheap deal on a set of 8-10 KR's with tires, they'll replace these.

Forest, what is your opinion of the 6.4 vs the new ford 6.7?

I like it. I haven't seen any other 6.4's with the split spokes yet. Thinking about a set of the Platinums for the other truck

Less expensive buy-in, a lot more power once deleted...

6.7 gets better fuel mileage out of the box, more power, 6sp tranny vs. 5sp, nicer interior (not that the 6.4 interior is lacking in ANY way!)

tuned/deleted 6.7 runs very strong, pulls like a monster

                  I like my 6.4's, but I wouldn't mind a 6.7 as a 2nd... 3rd? truck

If you happen to stumble across a set of take-offs from a new Platinum superduty hit a nigga up.

Ive seriously considered lowering my 4x4 to lower than stock. Pushing air takes power, and power takes fuel.

factory stance on this truck is 2.5" lower in front, 2" lower in rear... It has factory tires on it. I at least want to go down to factory spec. I'm trying to blend in, not stand out

I don't like how the cheap leveling blocks/springs bring the front axle towards the rear of the truck, and they went ghetto on the rear putting a 2" block on top of the factory 2" block. They could have just gone with a factory 4" 1 ton block
