My dad did the gauge surround drawing to send to the laser cutter. I am thinking the bottom gauges still need to come in a bit, but let me know what you think. The surround will be black so that may have some effect on the final appearance of the spacing. Its really hot and I had to fix another car so no much got done outside today.

The gauge panel file is at the laser cutter and they had a minimum order so if anyone has a 53-55 f100 let me know if you need one. I finished up the throttle linkage and interior portion of the shifter with the Limeworks safety mechanism. Really was not too happy with its quality, but got it to work with some extra parts. We also did some more sound insulation on the firewall and installed the rubber cover. Heater box went in and the core is being replaced at a radiator shop.

We spent some time the last couple days cleaning up a few little things on my dads truck. I dont think I ever posted it and thought some may be interested. I convinced him to lower it a bit more than usual for the image. L59/4l60e on an s10 chassis
I did manage get the fuel system done on the ford after difficulty deciding on a good route from the frame to firewall. I also figured out the shift rod for the 4L60e and ordered the parts needed. I will be picking up some short radius mandrels from ogburns tomorrow to get the front section of the exhaust done over the weekend.

My brother in law picked up some bends and I started on the exhaust this weekend. I think its going to have to be duals because of the drive shaft and mid mounted crossmember positions. The gauge surround is also done and I will have images of that tomorrow.
I pulled some hubcaps and tabs off an old set of wheels and got one mounted to my dads truck. We had wanted to do something to cover the center for a while and I think this works. I need to test this one at speed and if sound will move on to the others.
