                    not necessarily. I shot a pig that died on the spot dragged it about 80 yards from the feeder and within an hour we had deer at the feeder. (no, i didn't drag it by myself.)

                      I've dropped a doe at the feeder and not 30 minutes later dropped a buck right next to the doe still laying there.

                            exactly. last day of the season trying to fill my tags i dropped a doe and then another one about 30 minutes later 10' from the first one.

                              I've shot deer that were in groups and the rest of the group usually only go a few yards then come back.
