Yeah parts are nuts. I have an old 450SL on one of my lifts now and everything is insaine cost wise on that old tub.

Dude spent tons of money chasing a high idle problem. New injectors, TPS, IAC, IATS and so on. He gave up and brought it to me. 10 minutes latter I replaced 1' of vac line and the car runs like new again. LOL

The brown one was really rough, and not only did it not run right, it was missing linkages and bits that would be needed to get it to. I will keep my eyes open, but the plan is to get the money out of the 69 and buy the nicest one I can afford. My dad told me one that there is nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes. Oddly, I looked at one in garland yesterday, and he called to ask me to come back to make a deal with him. It's too rough I think, plus he doesn't have a title.
