        Did you encounter any people on the trail? Curious to know if there were any mountain bikers out there at all.

          We saw one person the entire time (a chick on a MTB about a mile from the start less than an hour into our trip)

          We saw way more coyotes, hawks, owls, cows, bats, etc than any sign of human life. The park ranger at Caprock Canyon said we were the only people w/ permits that weekend.
