I think I have some sawblade wheels and some C5 wagon wheels. They have used-up auto-x/roadrace tires on them, but pm me your email addy and I'll take some pics and cut you a deal if you are interested.

Give me a day or two and I'll dig them out and take some pics. I'm honestly not 100% sure exactly what I have, but you'll have the first crack at them.

The sawblades give it a Cyclone look in my opinion. Kind of a new edge version. I dig em.

I think you guys have me talked into them. Hopefully by the end of October the suspension is done.

Anyone happen to have some adapters laying around! lol. I can get away with no adapters in the rear by going to a 4wd rear axle. Or finding an explorer 8.8 to replace it with. The benefit to either of those is that I can get them with disc brakes. 8.8 will be beneficial when the lsjuan goes in for strength

                  So is this "project psyclone"?
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

No. My intentions are a factory style v8 truck. I want ot to look factory made. GM in dash navigation, factory option wheels, leather seats, LSx, etc. The rearend is an exception. As well as a few other components not normally visible

my buddy has an explorer 8.8 sitting here at work, it would be cheap, but it will need a clutch set in the diff and i'd recommend refreshing it while it's down. PM if interested, it's in Whitesboro, TX

Sawblades it is. Hopefully one of the board members shoots me a killer price.

Does anyone have any insight on figuring correct wheel adapter width? I can swap the rear end and it is a non issue, however, I don't figure I can get that done for less than $250, adapters are ~$80/pr.

Surely there is a formula that figures in track width, wheel width, and backspacing....

Formula? Ya, jack up truck and remove factory wheel, place vette wheel in place to desired location with truck lowered to ride height, measure into hub, done.
