      okay guy.. ive done more suspension builds on more cars than i can remember. sorry im not still racing the same car running the same times 15 years later.. remember, i was around when your wife bought you that lt4 "hot cam" .

          to the general public:

          brian is still upset that the last time he saw me at ennis circa 2001 i was out there with a new set up and too busy to acknowledge any admiring fans. he came up looking like a mad man from the mountains and it took me a minute to realize who he was. at that point i said oh hey whats up man, and went back to getting ready to run a nitrous pass. ever since then he's been threatening me with wrestling holds.

          i know; i dont get it either..

                went 11.4's when heads cam cars were running 12.8's, and your hot cam'd lt1 was running 13s still.. and parent funded > wife funded obviously.. i shoulda done like you and al p, and i'd be nhra cert'd into the 6.50's by now

                  To issues with bars:
                  - they negate the look of "stock appearing" radial tire/street type car
                  - with radials they may or may not add safety, pending the situation



                  That 2nd part is a big key that many guys can't seem to comprehend. Wheelie bars don't just stop the car from rotating, they pick up/unload the rear tires. Radials don't react/grow like slicks do, thus when the bars start unloading them it can easily lift one tire more/faster than the other thus causing the car to turn/crash.

                    I was hired to crew a 10.5 car that we ran in KOTH last year. 632 BBF, twim P/M turbos, M5, Glide... all the bells and whistles that would get the 3,240 sled down the track really damned fast. 4.38 @ 178. Only problem was.... if he pedaled it once the ramp came in and the turbos were spooled up (pissed off at 30+ psi) it would come up and buck the bars so hard we actually saw all 4 wheels off the ground more than once during testing/track rentals.

                        both, im plucking posts from yellow bullet to back up my original link. as far as pushing buttons i have no need to do that. i've known this dude since 1998, i dunno who he thinks he is or why he needs to result to name calling, but the truth will always expose itself..

                        Talking to Steve Jackson @ SGMP and he said he had them up pretty high, because he didn't wanna hit them. He said coming to the finish line if the car lifted and touched them it would instantly unload the suspension and blow the tires off.
                        im not the smartest man, but i understand physics, and im not stuck in 1996 and realize that the tires of today are not of the same construction/size as to what those arguing with me are used to. radial tire cars dont need wheelie bars. its a good way to fuck some shit up, plain and simple.

                          Its safe to say that Jere Etheridge didn't have bars on his car... So who gives a fuck about wheelie bars?? They are just as gay as those idiotic pecker extenders on the front bumper of some outlaw 10.5 cars.

                              You are mixing up the chodes you used to roll with. You were slow as balls when you would come out to Ennis and that's if you even raced. It's not impressive you can find, copy/paste a bunch of different opinions on bars and how they behave on certain cars in certain conditions. It still shows you know dick about drag racing. I called you a moron because you tried to interject in something you had no clue about and used a link that had nothing to do with your idiotic "correlate" and now you're mouthing and trying to cover it up.
