  • 1st time paint job

    Safety Orange from Ace Hardware with a foam roller and gloss black Rust-Oleum for the stripes. About $40 for everything, including the tape and paper.

    Wow really? Think I would of spent the money. Unless that's the look your going for. Good luck on build.

                Hit the paint with some 2000 grit sand paper. Use some M205 and buff it with a foam pad on a rotary buffer and I bet it wil smooth out all that garbage in the reflection

                Your stripe looks like a two year old drew it, good luck on that

                          Wet sanding really isn't that difficult. You are leveling the surface of the paint. 2000 grit can be easily buffed back to life with a $60 rotary buffer from pep boys and a $20 bottle of meguiars M205 also at pep boys. I did my entire bullet wet sanding and buffing in about 8-10 hours

                          My car had a single stage paint job which was paint and clear so that's why my buffer pad is green
