Yeah a painless harness or a standalone harness would be the easiest way. Psi is the place where I would recommend getting one. You can call them and have a harness made to fit your specific application.

Are you using cruise control on your setup? I wanted to use the newer model setup with tilt and all but wondering if I can use the stock pcm and the older column with the cruise on the switch

Yes but I will be using dbw. There is a way to make a Camaro cruise diaphragm work with dbc, but this will be much easier. Just wire 4 wires from the switch to the tac module then add a way to get a speed signal to the ECM.

thanks for the info, to be honest I don't know if my donor is dbw or not yet. Its an 2002 but haven't gotten to mess with it much.

I'll look into the wiring. been reading up on ls1swap a lot lately

If its a truck then yes an 02 should be dbw. There is a ton of info for ls swaps all over the place.

Been getting some progress done this morning. Fighting the cold wind its getting closer. hoping to fire it either tonite or tomorrow. Then either tuesday or wednesday it will be going to the muffler shop to get the exhaust hooked back up and tucked away.

Yup, the wiring is the biggest pita since I modified mine. If you buy an already made harness, it a breeze. Im pretty much left with the wiring and building my induction and its ready to fire.

thanks man, there is a lot more I'd like to do, but time is not on my side right now. I plan to repaint the fender wells, clean up the fire wall, and repaint the whole truck. I plan to use it as a truck and haul stuff but I still want it to look good. Hoping the weather is better tomorrow as today sucked ass. I barely got stuff done with the wind blowing

Also worked on the heads and got the porting all finished up. Plan to assemble them tomorrow and get them installed! Hoping to fire it up first of next week!

I don't know a lot about these, but that is one fucked up looking intake?

The truck intake isn't much to look at compared to the clean lines of the car stuff, but with the work you did, or the cover over it they aren't bad.
