    One of my dream cars.

2nd to the last car I raced in my '69 was that same car in black, but a dual quad option.

Wow. That's an unusual story about the owner. Amazing.

And before it gets pointed out, I know it was NOT a factory option but dealer/user installed.

                    Nice car.
i heard that on Mecum auction a couple months back. I think this car presents a strong case for originality though.

With all that provenance, I feel pretty comfy about that being an original car. In the mid-'70's I had a neighbor in Richardson that cruised a '65 396/425 Corvette convertible. Dad and I didn't realize how rare that was at the time, but I wouldn't mind having it now.

You noticed that too? To me that is the most astounding thing about the car.

Just never been a fan of those cars. The interior turns me off! But none the less I can appreciate its age beauty for being as old as it is

I don't know. Just some goofy shit the original owner did, just like the strange tires and Offy valve covers. They're leaving it alone.

Those Corvette emblems on the air cleaner are much later than the car. I see at least a '75 and '78 emblem there.

LOL Seb, it's okay if you don't like the interior, there are a LOT of people out there that think the '67 427 Corvette is the finest American car ever built.
