I had a z28 that was hit and insurance gave me $4k more than I paid for it. I stripped it pretty clean and left it on steelies, with base v6 interior all mis matched withna v6 rear end with drum brakes. as long as it was the complete car they didn't care. They are sold on paper to scrappers as running or non running.
Just make sure the car functions reasonably as it did during the inspections. they don't care what aftermarket parts are on it because those don't add value or detract. Stock axles are the same as upgraded ones etc
Random but a carfax won't show if the vehicle has ever been registered to a junk yard, I randomly run that z28 vin to see if it's been registered
