What I need to know is just how much shit can I strip off this jeep without pissing off the insurance company."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

I was just reading a thread on Steel Soldiers on a really awesome bobbed duece build from a couple of years ago. Also read a cool one on a guy that built a crew cab (4 door). I too would love to have one.
Here, this is the one:

I doubt that you would ever hear a word from them if you were to replace anything that was removed, but leaving it without might raise a brow. Odds are that they will send a truck to pick it up, and drop it straight at a salvage auction without ever looking at it, but you never know."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

I've done a lot of research on M153's actually. I'm kind of fortunate in that my brother was a wheeled vehicle mechanic in the Army, and specifically worked on Deuce's, so he has the mother hookup on knowledge and parts for them. My only problem is a place to put it. It's a damn semi, it isn't going to fit in my driveway, and any HOA is going to shit bricks if you park that thing outside. It would be awesome for trails, but the problem is the thing is so fucking huge you can't do any trails in this area with it. You'l be stuck between trees, breaking the windshield on branches, etc."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin
