CJ, I used to live at Mayfield and 360 area and I am so glad I moved from there.
We might have been neighbors, I lived right there as well when I was in Arlington. It was an interesting area, but I don't miss it. Had the 400lb black lady working at the gas station next to waffle house try and sell me weed one night lol.
I just sat on a jury in a civil case involving a texter causing an accident. She got screwed (rightfully so) but the accident was in '08!
Good luck CJ, I know if my truck (which I have at least one hundred hours in) got destroyed by some dumbass-es' negligence, I'd put twice as much time and effort into recovering whatever I could.
Well, their shitty ass offer was 9k to take the jeep, and 5k if I keep the jeep. So, now I have to decide whether or not I can get over 4k for the engine/trans/tcase/seats/dash/tub/tank. I'm keeping the wheels/tires/axles. Or, my other option is I find some broke ass axles to throw under it and some stock wheels and send it on it's way and keep the 9k to buy another jeep.
Is there anyone here who is an insurance adjuster? I have a few questions about how my jeep looks when they take it back, because it isn't going to look like it did when they inspected it.

1-800-Lawyers? Someone should compensate you for your time on that build. Not to mention that sounds like a bull shit offer. Don't know what year jeep you had but I'm betting 9k wont buy one as nice.

Jessi is a property claims adjuster but I'm sure she can give me the name of someone she knows in auto that'll give you some insight.

I don't know if they are the same pattern (5x4.5) but I have a set of stock wheels and tires off a 96 grand cherokee you can have if you need them to put it back to "stock".
I'm an adjuster but I handle workers comp and don't know shit about auto.
