Seriously, that sucks. A friend of mine had that happen to him with a jeep that looked almost identical to yours...I was driving right behind him when it happend. He literally ran the car over, but lost his front clip in the process.

From my last experience they usually offer you book value for it, not what they actually sell for. My jeep books for like 7k, but they sell for around 12k. I've been through this before, I had to argue with Allstate for 18 months on my last settlement. I'll try to get every last penny out of it, and then buy it back and part it out.
