I was coming back from the store heading home, hit the light at Arbrook and Matlock. It turned green and i was reading a receipt so I was slow off the line. I had a red Impala in front of me to my left. All of a sudden WHAM I get hit by a black Nissan Rogue. It slammed into my front passenger side and sent me into the impala next to me. The Rogue bounces off me and hits the front of the impala and both of them go into oncoming traffic. I pulled out of traffic and checked on the lady in the Impala. Honestly I didn't even think I hit the Impala but after looking at my bumper it's pretty obvious the damage to the side is from me getting thrown into her.
Both of the other people went to the hospital in an ambulance, I was able to drive my jeep into the Costco parking lot and had Kyle pick it up and drop it at my house. My legs ended up getting pretty smashed up from the wreck, but it's mostly bumps and bruises. The lady in the Nissan must have been texting, she went through a light going much faster than 45, and it had been red for at least 5 seconds. She was 19 years old and had her 4 children in the car. The kids were okay, she was pretty beat up from the airbag. I'm just really pissed off. I had so much work into this jeep and I'm going to get fucked when it's all said and done. It's obviously totaled, the whole front end/frame is knocked 12" to the driver side, it's so damn bent you can't even turn the wheel to the right. Very depressing weekend.
