Like SEB said, it needed black to break up the green IMO.

Not gonna happen! You need to come over here and drive up my driveway, see if you bottom out. It's not super steep, but might be enough you scrape at the entrance.

I agree, if I had a BOSS, I'd keep these too. I will however say, the rims he replaced them with (don't recall the brand/name) were awesome looking. Really deep dish, matte black and polished lip. They were probably pretty high $, and some fatt-ass rear tires.

The stock ones were to plain looking. Maybe if they were black the style woulda been OK, but I like the black against the green.

I still don't understand why they can't lower the body a bit or adjust the suspension and make the car sit right from the factory without sacrificing ride quality. BMW has been able to do it for 15+ years, it can't be rocket science.

After market business probably pays Ford NOT to do that. Imagine how much business they could potentially loose.

I think in a few years, they might do that. Look at the sequential turn signals now. people liked it, Ford finally made it part of the stock package. But I do think what I said above plays into why not too.

Dude, I can see your driveway in the pics. It would be no problem at all. The entrance to my office is steeper than that. The Pro Kit has nearly the same ride as stock. I just couldn't look at my car everyday and see a gap over the tire that I could stick a beer can in. If it works for you, then keep that spongy mushy too tall suspension!

Ford has minimum ground height requirements for all their cars, which is obviously taller than BMW.

Doesn't lowering it also throw the rear axle out of alignment a little, requiring a pan hard bar or something to adjust it (like one wheel sticks out 1/4 further than the other side?).

Then gotta get an alignment, and last time I had to take it back because they didn't set the steering wheel straight when they aligned it. Just pissed me off they didn't even think of adjusting that before calling me to come pick it up.

I know it looks better lowered, just hate everything that you have to go thru to get it done, and of course the $ involved. These rims really didn't cost me anything. Lyn won at Winstar the weekend before I saw these for sale, then I sold the stockers last night and came out even. New shoes, and really zero out of pocket!

Yes, on these cars it takes springs PLUS a panhard rod PLUS an alignment. Big fucking deal you cheap bastard!

Plus wheel spacers if retaining the stockers.

He doesn't need wheel spacers - the Boss wheels aren't six fucking inches wide like yours!

You guys are too funny. You could have it all done, with a good looking and nice handling car inside of three hours and for less than $500.

I just couldn't go around in 4x4 mode for long, but you guys have no style!

Shiiiiiiit, I got style out the ass, but I also have a bad back and a nice riding car I'm not ready to ruin yet. Hell, I didn't even lower my 01 Cobra and it needed it bad.
