I feel bad for the older black people. The ones that actually first-hand dealt with racism when looking for a job, and in their everyday lives. After all the shit that they've been through, they have to see their children, grand children, and great grand children act like fucktards because of they're trying to live a lifestyle that anyone from that lifestyle would tell you that they'd never go back. Seriously, ask 50 Cent if he'd rather be a music producer/artist/actor or back on the streets looking around every corner trying not to get shot a tenth time. Rappers write about shit that they've seen, not shit that they want to see.

Tell a mod (Leah or Chili) what you're old join date/post count was, and they'll update it.

Couldn't agree more with that post. The older generation of black folks....good folks, worked so damned hard to overcome adversary, racism, forced poverty, etc. to now see their younger generations come back in and fuck it all up again....for what?....trying to make a statement on something they never lived through themselves and honestly know nothing about? Used to be that an over-qualified smart man who was willing to do the job for less money would be turned away only b/c he had dark skin (while retarded whitey's got paid to piss off)....and now-a-days you see retarded black folks getting jobs handed to them only b/c of their skin color. Case-in-point....look at who is running our country (further into the ground) now.

Unfortunately, I voted for that guy, not because of his skin color obviously since I'm the whitest mother fucker ever, but I agreed with his CAMPAIGN more than McCains and I wanted Sarah Palin to stay the fuck out of the whitehouse. I think that in doing so, I have more of a reason to bitch than the people that didn't vote for him. Barack Obama completely lied his way to the whitehouse. I just wish that I would've seen through those lies. I guess that's what being young is about. I'm done voting Rep or Dem. I'm gonna start looking harder at Independents. Is it a waste of a vote? Yeah, but if everybody would "waste" their vote, then it wouldn't be a waste at all.

That's the one thing I can give McCain. He did tell the truth. Unfortunately, that was to change very little. Obama knew that America wanted change, and he promised that. In a way, he delivered, but the change he brought didn't help most of americans. It helped people that didn't ask for help, but demanded it because they didn't want to help themselves. I like how liberals try to portray big business as evil. All they see is the peak of the mountain. Not the base or anything in between that they climbed to get where they are at. Yeah, some people are rich, and a lot of people are poor. You know what though? A lot of the rich people used to be poor. But they sacrificed many aspects of their life to become rich. Now Obama wants them to pay for those sacrifices. Fucked up man.

It's refreshing for me to see this opinion from your generation (younger Americans), b/c IMO it's all in your hands now....and I couldn't agree more (wow, you really are on a roll ). What it's going to take is to propagate that exact line of thinking in the younger generations who are more apt to go with what makes sense, as opposed to going with their traditional team of blue or red...just conservative vs. liberal, and no other thought to it. As much as I hate to say it, a lot of our older generations have become entrenched (brainwashed) into just going with their party....regardless of who it is or what is being said.

I think if it's ever going to happen our next round of elections may be a prime time b/c folks thought they were doing well by flipping sides and going with the "change", and it hasn't been any better. Perhaps more will be open to a whole new line of thinking this next go-round. The problem is that the parties have such power now and play so dirty that it is going to be very difficult for anyone who challenges them. Just look back at what the Dems did to Ross Perot when he was looking to be a threat to Clinton....that shit will likely be worse these days. I'd love to have a crystal ball to be able to see how things would look today had Perot been elected into the Whitehouse back then....I'm betting it would be way different in a good way….other countries in debt to us as opposed to the other way around.

BTW - I've generally been a republican my entire life b/c I believe in the motto behind it…a man has a right to keep what he has earned for his own hard work, not to have to give half of it to another man who would rather sit on his ass with a hand out waiting to be filled. However, it was very hard for me too in the last election b/c of Palin...I agree on that nutcase…the day she gets elected will be the mark that it truly is all over! Now-a-days I'm not on either side.
