  • So knows quads? Suzuki LT250R Quadracer

I got this thing in with a trade I did for some parts I needed.

    It's an 1987 Suzuki LT250R Quadracer

Completely torn down then freshened up
    Rebuilt motor with some mods
    New carbon fiber style plastics
    New aluminum rims
    Etc.....

First one of these I've had so no idea what it's worth

    Here are some pics.

Damn I would love to have that. How much do you need out of it to make the trade a good trade for what you gave hime?

I did ride it once so far
If your not carefull it doesn't take much to stand it on the rear wheels
            Better be holding on
And that was in this cold messy weather.
Bet it runs like a beast when it's nicer climate

Cold dense air makes for better for performance, though it'll likely be alot more fun when it's nice out.

I don't see how, but I could be wrong. I'd love to have it.

This ones had some head work, over bore, and sprocket changes
Don't know all the details yet.
I just know it doesn't take a lot of throttle at all to stand it up on its rear
Can't wait to run the piss outta it.

                      Then sell it....... Lol

Had an LT125 when I was a kid and loved it. I always wanted the LT250R.

I had an old 230 as well. Made me a Suzuki fan for life. That thing took a beating, but always kicked over for more fun. I sold it in '06 and it still ran perfect.

Get all the details and let us know. My brother had an '85 LT250, and he can give you a price point to post it up for, and what to realistically expect. Off the top of my head, I'd say expect to get around $3k for it.

If you can get receipts for the work done, get them. That makes a big difference to people buying quads, especially the 2-stroke ones. It's kinda like buying a vehicle that shows high mileage, but saying the engine and transmission are fresh. People would want proof before spending top dollar, and that quad is 26 years old...

Have fun, those fuckers are faaaast.
