I'm driving my fox errywhere. I've yet to have a problem with traction when I didn't want it to. You guys that seem to think that the mustangs are a death trap on anything other than perfectly dry roads need to buy a driver mod.

I am putting a daily fox together right now and then I am gonna park my 00 . They can be slipery but isn't that the reason we love them ? I did get sideways at 70 mph in my 86 vert coming home from the last cruise at the Dale but as is the case almost every time it was driver error . I shouldn't have been driving that fast on skinnies in rain that heavy . I drove foxes for years every day and I miss it and thats why I want to do it again .Big Rooster Racing

The only issue was the lack of a defroster
I will contend that the weight bias in a fox makes driving in the rain tricky. Just have to pay attention. Throw some 3.73's or more in the mix and it gets worse. Before the loop got redone here I had to stay off of it in the rain. If I had to come to a complete stop it was a fight to get going again. Just letting out the clutch resulted in tire spin at idle.

When I had DR's on my 04 GT, that had some miles on them, driving in rain was the total suck.. Especially with Nittos. Shit slid EVERYWHERE no matter how gentle on the gas, etc. Although, when my BFG DR's were new they performed better than my normal tires in the rain. You could hear the rubber sticking to the ground when pulling into the garage..

I personally dont have a problem driving a fox in the rain, with good tires. Mine gets driven almost daily, it gets hella better mieage than my truck. I just need a truck from time to time.
I am pretty careful though. Like was stated before, these cars arent as easy to find in good shape anymore.
