I was never seriously into climbing like that, but I love climbing things. Trees, rock walls, fake rock walls, anything that represents a challenge.

my fucking climbing partner had a good 6" reach on me and it made all the difference in the world, but he would also say I was cheating when I would do the splits and hop up a chimney. lulz

Hard for me to climb the advanced stuff, as I'm 5' 7", but I'll be damned if I ever let that stop me from keeping up

There's a reason my wife gave me the Chinese name Hou Zi (means Monkey, and I'm not black).

me and a friend are actually up here in dallas for a day to hit up Dyno-Rock in Arlington. Friday we're going out to camp at Krause Springs and spend a day at Reimer's climbing whatever we can.

The original plan was to camp at Enchanted Rock but they're closed for hunting this weekend. Bummer.

If you have never been, make sure and go to Stone works in Carrolton.

i've heard about that place. I may have to check it out when i move back to DFW. Carrolton is a bit of a trek from Midlothian for this trip.

it blows all other climbing gyms away. You get pretty damned high up!

It's no longer Stoneworks. It was reopened by Chris: http://www.northtexasopc.com/.
