I think what is considered comedy has just changed a lot in the last 20 years. There are more comics that don't stand the test of time than do.

He WAS. I am almost 50 and he still makes me laugh. Like Trip said, it's the delivery. The kind of things you think about after a few hits from the bong.

One of my favorite jokes of his was "I was going to get my teeth whitened, but I got a tan instead". I liked the alternate version from the compilation above: "I thought my teeth were white until I washed my face with Noxzema".

You're out of your skull! That clip was chopped up and of some of his earlier shit. If you can't enjoy his albums "Mitch All Together" and "Do you believe in Gosh" you have a shitty sense of humor.
