                          I'm hit or miss with Carlin, but recognize the brilliance. I think Patrice O'neal was a pure genius. Norton is fucking hilarious, but runs similar stories.

                            I've got Pryor above Louis CK. He produced ground-breaking comedy that transcended racial tensions and created a path for LOTS of others (that arguably could be on that Top 5) like Murphy, Rock, Chappelle etc.

                                Needs Pryor, but pretty solid list(not in that order though!). I'd even throw early Eddie Murphy in there, Raw, or Delirious.
