That looked like a big plane when you slowed it down, geez. I assume the crash over on airport freeway back in the 80s(?) was something like this.
lol that pretty much covers everything. The cause of the crash is not known. Officials say the weather, pilot error and technical malfunctions could be possibilities."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Yeah that happened here in Irving if I'm not mistaken, he was in a black corolla or something.Originally posted by SS Junk View PostI can't find a pic of it, but I do remember seeing one where a car was on the freeway and the plane slammed directly on top of it killing the driver. The car literally looked like a taco."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

There was also the crash in DC that went into the river but took out a bunch of cars on a bridge first. Think it happened in the 80s, it was during a huge snowstorm, and they should have gone back to de-ice the plane because they were in take off que too long. Crashed on take off.

I remember that one well.
That was the Air Florida crash. Very compelling video from the rescue. It's amazing anyone survived. I remember I was in the 7th grade at the time, and it dominated the news for weeks.Originally posted by talisman View PostThere was also the crash in DC that went into the river but took out a bunch of cars on a bridge first. I'm pretty sure I did see the movie. The mother of my sister's best friend was killed in the Delta crash at D/FW, so it hit kind of close to home...literally.Originally posted by SS Junk View PostYou see the TV movie? I think it starred the dude from Hill Street Blues.
There's also blackbox audio from the DC crash. Just bone chilling..."It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."
