The guy is supposed to get back to me with a price tomorrow. They debuted at SEMA this year. I am not getting my hopes up because they are probably way out of my price range.

What do y'all think of the machine look on the silver car?

I was starting to get depressed. It has been cloudy and rainy everyday since I bought it.

For people who were against the louvers, do the better pictures change your mind any? I like them and I am going to keep them but am wondering what y'all think.

I'm like 50/50 on any louvers, so I say they look good! Who cares what others think, you do what you like!

To me, louvers and scoops are a PITA when you wash. They seem to hold a bunch of water, then after it is all dry and shiny, you drive and get water run spots, LOL.

They do look better to me now, but I still wouldn't personally want them.

How much more does an 07-09 GT500 weigh with only 80 more horsepower?

Agreed. I like the looks of the louvers, but they suck to clean, and they damn sure make it harder to see out of. The ones Danny listed above look much better.

I am diggin the louvers as well. Something different. Other wise it looks like all the rest of the 5.0's. (They all look good)

They do not affect my side view mirrors? Turn around to look behind you is not a very safe way to drive. These new 13's have the smaller mirror in the corner of the main mirror for those blind spots.

The car was purchased not just because it is capable of being fast. They get decent gas mileage and I am sure the insurance would be higher on the GT500. I daily drive to the tune of 20k + miles a year. So there is more factored into a car purchase than HP.

I am happy with it... you can take your negative nancy shit somewhere else haha.
