That would be me. I put the new weather stripping in and it makes my windows buldge out, leaving a crack big enough to slide have your hand in. I'm sure its real nice and ice in there now. Hopefully my plastic bag cover provided enough protection.

I'm pretty sure that there wasn't a GT specific 5 liter motor, though I'm by no means a foxbody expert. In '93 the 5.0 dropped down to 205hp, and the '95 made 215hp, with the 4.6 jumping back up to 225hp in '96.

Actually the 4.6L made 215HP in 1996 and 225HP in 98, but who is counting?

I figured I'd screwed something up, I just knew that my '98 had 225hp, and assumed the same for '96 and '97.

More to the point, there wasn't a motor that was specific to the GT over the LX to my knowledge, someone correct me if I'm wrong. There was H.O. and non H.O., but available in both body styles I thought.

Yeah, something magically changed in 98 that added 10 HP to the NPI turd. I am not aware of any motor difference either.

                    Tune is my guess.

All mustangs are race cars though

I'm sure that all of them were at some point.

My stock 98GT right off the floor with 500mi on it pulled 198 on the dyno. I've always thought the 225 was a BS number and had nothing to support it.
