Notice at the end when they're taxiing to the gate that each of the pilots PFDs (that's what Boeing calls them, they probably use some Frenchy bastard name) that it is displaying the view from the tail camera. Way cool. It's still a Frency bastard airplane though. Long live Boeing.

That was the one thing that caught my eye in the whole vid. Pretty sweet to bring up a camera on your mfd.

Airbus does call them PFD, and they have similar cockpits throughout their fleet like Boeing.

We (AA) are getting the "fly by wire"/"side stick" wonders starting next year. 319's,320's and 321's. PFD = primary flight display (attitude and HSI/nav) MFD = multi function display(system monitor,engines,fuel,faults,etc..)

You can display any info on any tube through reversionary mode. It is system redundancy for failure of the signal generator, or the individual displays.

Yes I will. Tough decision to upgrade to Ca. On small bus(319) or go for 777,787 right seat. I have 9 years till retirement. I want to travel other than 48, Mexico and Canada. The sim is already up and certified at our training academy.
