I really like that white/chrome look.
The tires aren't in good shape, one is down to the belt and the others have about 2/32nds, but they are nitto 555's, so they never had much tread to begin with.

Me too. I used to have 18" Cobra R's on my 94 Cobra, (11 years ago?), can't remember how low it was, but it looked right.

I know a lot of people do like the stockers, but I am not one of them. They remind me too much of the old Porsche 928 wheels. Paint and then interior are the next items on the to do list.

Debating on trying my hand at paint work again. Every time, I improve a little bit more. Since this is white, it's a lot more forgiving than say that bright atlantic blue that I used last time.

Got them mounted today. Previous mechanic left me a present by forcing two lug nuts onto the right rear wheel studs and I had to shear them off. Really liking the 275/40/17 up front.

I have a white fender for it, just haven't gotten around to putting it on yet.

Waiting around for new tires to arrive from tirerack, so on an impulse I decided to pull my transmission for a clutch job. 163K miles, original clutch. The TOB was about to explode, it was noisy, but I didn't think it was that bad. Barely spins and rattles like all hell when it does. Same goes for the pilot bearing. Clutch disc was worn almost to the rivets. Oh and fuck ford for torquing those bellhosing bolts so much.
