Her brother just left for college a few months back and took his with him. She's a gamer like me and him.
painted and added stickers. Her favorite saying is you rock daddy. So I put you rock girl .
She is 8. I just remodeled her whole bedroom in pink everything . Was a,surprise for her burf-day . She cried.
She has called this Xbox old boxy for the past year. She told me to never get rid of her. Now boxy is hers.
She lives with her mom. I see her on weekends and holidays .
I did her bedroom at her mom's done for her burf-day not here because she spends more time there than here.
That cover it all?
*shame*

just to clarify: my original post was because I found it interesting and am trying to figure out if it was something I could do for my son. After that, I was trying to give an opinion based on some of the gifts I've gotten for my boys and the look they gave me when it was a dudd.
Not saying the op's would be a dudd, especially after the background given about the xbox.

To Jacob. You can order them online already painted but will cost way more. I just stripped it all the way to just the mother board. Cleaned it all up.
The plastic parts I washed in soapy water. Dried it off.
Then used really fine sand paper to ruff up the surface . Painted. Sanded smooth. Then another coat. Could clear it but it won't be handled like a toy would so it's fine.
If you did a controller then yes by all means do at least two coats of clear.
Put it callback together and added stickers.
Was gonna do led lights but decided not to booger with that and mess something up. I plan on doing that to another one I'm getting from a friend .
It got a problem with the disk drive. I'll fix it and go crazy with it. Add some plexiglass Windows to it and light it up from the inside.
I'm a tinkerer lol. I se something I think is cool I try to do it. Right now I'm working on a laminar flow water fountain .Non tapatalk Sig so the butt hurt va-JJs can stop crying about not being able to turn it off.

Good gift, I gave my old Xbox 360 to my god son last year, 11. And he was stoked. Even gave him all of my old games including 5-6 years of madden, etc. know what games he plays the most? Old madden, each year version he has a team, knows every player, etc. I thought he's be more interested in new games, but in the end, good kids will surprise you in how great full they are for the little things.
He used to come over with is dad, when I lived in Austin, and we'd play Xbox. I realized I only really played it when he was there, so I wrapped it and gave it to him for Xmas. He said of everything he got it was the best present all year. Haha
