    Did you see how thick the ice was?!?!! Even through and through cracks wouldn't allow you to fall through. That ice had to be like a foot thick.
    Also, keep in mind, depending upon where that video was taken, that lake could be 10, 15, or only 20' deep. MANY lakes in the Upper Mid US are VERY shallow but expansive. (Obviously not talking about the Great Lakes.)
