Currently looking at this, but not so sure about the quarter panel damage.

those 4 door hardtops are cool and all but i HATE the rear window on them. How much of a bitch is it really to convert a 4 door post to a 2 door? is it even possible given the dimensions?

It's been done, but it always looks "off" to me. And I agree about the rear window, I actually prefer the aesthetics of a 4 door post, but the hardtop would be more fun to drive with the windows down. The rear window has always looked like it got chopped off to me on the 4 door HTs. That said, I wouldn't kick it out of bed.

Not when done right. Which means, cutting out everything under the roof and adding back two-door sedan doors, jambs, and quarter windows. The roof is exactly the same on two and four door sedans, just the door openings are different. This is common to most '50s-60s sedans including the tri-five Chevys.
