Being that he was the only cop there at the time that may of invited unwanted attention, and there would have been even more people from here screaming how unjustified the actions were. I never said what the dominant cop did was civil, but there are times when it is necessary to go ape shit in order to get undisciplined hood rats like that to listen.

Hurst PD To Investigate Officer Brutality and Abuse of Teen In Video Hurst PD Officer caught on camera abusing and roughing up 17-yr old teen .....Kelly Pope wants a Hurst police officer off the force. Pope is the mother of 17-year-old Andrew Rodriguez who says the officer, who identified himself on cell phone video as "Arnold 654," used excessive force against her son.

Describing the video of the incident, Pope said, "He comes up at a jolting sprint, kneed him [Rodriguez] in the back of the head and as you can see on the video says, 'If you move I"m gonna [expletive] you up.'

Rodriguez's friend recorded the incident or at least the last five minutes of it and uploaded it.

"Sit down. Shut the [expletive] up. Don't say nothing else," said Officer Arnold while Rodriguez was still on the ground.

"He's okay," said Pope of her son. "He doesn't want any part of anything. He's a little embarrassed."

Pope said she'll go to the Hurst Police Department Monday hoping to talk directly with Police Chief Steve Moore about this officer.

"I would like that guy off the force," Pope said.

Hurst Police gave this statement on the matter:

"This is not behavior that the city of Hurst promotes or condones in any way. We strive to build a stronger, safer community through our work around the city and will continue to do so through appropriate action. The incident will be investigated internally."

I watched it on the news lastnight and the 17 year old running the camera went to jail too for having a pack of cigarettes. I thought that was pretty chicken shit. I'm surprised they didn't erase that video while he was in jail.

Police can do whatever the fuck they want, I've been trying to tell people this for years. No one seems to believe me or thing im a FTP'er. Though with all the cameras now its coming to light like a motherfucker.

I've got 3 cops in my family and I hear what your sayin. I tell my sister she needs to cut the normal people some slack. Cops put up with alot of shit but hell it ain't my faught. They wanted the job.

I have friends, family that are cops and most of them are good people just trying do something they love, helping other people. Unfortunatly they have to deal with some of the lowest forms of human examples, but they need to know how to turn it off and give people that are law abiding citizens a chance before tazing, pepper spraying or shooting these people in the face.
