It's "Maximizer 5500" concrete mix from Home Depot. Though it is says that it can be used for counter tops, it is a very rocky formula and it took a lot of float/trowel work to get it smoothed out. Also had to come in with a portland paste after the forms were removed to fill in holes... the sides looked like a rice crispy treat. I followed up with a buffed-out densifier/sealer.
There are several mixes specifically designed for this use that would probably yield a better result... with less effort. But I was going for a "rougher" look.

I used Miller Metal Buildings... I'm very pleased. You are more than welcome to come over and look at mine, I'm not far from you.

I may take you up on that, but I'm a ways out. I'm looking for a builder for my house. The "toy box" will come after the home builder has been selected.

Small world. I'm in Haslet area as well, and Miller has built most of the shops in my neighborhood.

                              • Am I the only one who still wants to drool over the car? I mean, I WISH I had a shop like that but I really love what you're doing with the fox. I'll bring a 12 pack if you'd like some help working on it.
