    • Anyone looking for "vintage" stuff? I have a couple things I have been carting around for about 19 years.. I started a listing on Ebay for it but pulled it because I listed it wrong. Haven't put it back up yet:

I bought these brand new in 1994 and used them maybe 10 times. Have been in storage almost 20 years and still looks brand new.

Also have a Motor, some gears, and speed control:

I would "assume" the battery pack is no good being so old, but still have it.

anyone interested before I re-list it on Ebay?

The truck is a short course truck made to be mainly driven on a race track. For what you are wanting, I would look into a Traxxas Stamped, Emaxx, or Erevo. If you want to go gas/nitro, look at those same models but the nitro version but I don't recommend a nitro RC for beginners. Electric is the way to go to start with. All of the ones I mentioned are sold ready to run. You just need batteries and a charger...

With that being said, if you think you have enough semi smooth dirt areas in the field, $150 for the truck. You would just need a battery (2s Lipo recommended, but Nimh will work also) and a battery charger. A lot of chargers will charge multiple types of batteries, just need to make sure whatever you get will charge the type of battery you plan to run.

I have been kicking the idea of making a single ducted fan Gee Bee for a long time.

About ten years ago I made a foamie version of the Vought F5U/V173 using geared motors from the GWS pico-stiks. It was really cool and flew well but was hard as hell to keep proper orientation due to the odd shape, it was hard to tell just exactly which way it was pointing. I want to do another one soon that is brushless and running lipos.

Man that looks MUCH better than I expected it would.

My drift car showed up on Friday. It's a lot more difficult than I expected. Pretty fun.
Nothing cool as far as a car goes, but if you want photos of your ride...I can handle that. Check out my Facebook page if you're bored.
