Never done a boat. Are they clear lexan painted on the inside or do they actually get painted like a real boat?

the inside is raw fiber/kevlar,carbon weave. The outside is white gelcoat. Just needs to be scuffed, primed, and painted.

Do you paint stuff? What I really want is simple but I would like a good job.

        • Yeah, I generally paint all my RC bodies and plastic models using my airbrush. My RC stuff is easy as its painted from the inside of the clear body. Models are generally pretty easy as well as they are small and don't require a lot of prep or finish work. Will post some pics of my RC paint jobs tomorrow. Used to have a street car with f150 body that had design on front and a bikini woman on the "bedcover" part of the body, lowrider style...Have to see if I can dig those pics up.

Never tried anything as big as a boat and would hate to screw it up...

Testors model master lacquer system is super easy to use. You can pick them up at hobby lobby. What do you have in mind for the paint? Solid color?

What were you looking to have done? Give me an Idea of what you want or some sketches if you have them and colors and I can get it painted for you.

You provide the paint or I can get it and you can pay me cost of materials + whatever you feel is fair price for work.

                      • Here are some pictures of the model master lacquer system. Its a two stage, base/clear system. This was a charger I built several years ago.

Cost of materials, Paint, thinner, etc... + whatever you feel is justified when the work is complete.

When do you need it done?
                            What colors?
                            What scheme?
