Nice. How do the scale planes fly? I have heard they are a bit harder to fly. All of my planes except the park flyers and foamies were made by me from kits but I have been wanting to get into scale planes for a while.

Marv last I checked in was off beltline road racing. Not far from his old shop T&M. Used to run with marv back in the day. I ran a awd sedan. I have one of his funny car chassis that I never finished putting together to get back into it.
Your top fuel looks familiar . Hmmmm he's probly wondering what happened to it lol. I've got his contact info if you want it.

Depends on the plane itself. Some (my B-17, BF-109, and C-47) fly great; the Bf-109 can almost fly with your hands off the sticks. While my Falker(spelling??) is like flying an old farm truck with loose tie rod ends and bad ball joints. You have to be right on top of it the whole time or its going to take a dirt nap.
/They tend to share flying characteristics with the real plane. If you want a scale looking plane that flies like a trainer, the parkzone P-51 gunfighter is where it's at.
here's a kick ass picture of my Nitroplanes BF-109, Not a good first plane but it is a great plane and a killer deal for the price.

I think I may have raced against Marvin many years ago. Back when Dry Creek Hobby Shop was still around out here in Hunt County. The owner had set up a bracket drag race in front of the old Buds in the "mall" I was racing an associated B2 that I had cut the knobs off of the tires to turn into slicks. I think I beat his tricked out super stock with my beater B2 due to the dial in. He wasn't happy at all. I was just a kid having fun, when I went to talk with the "pro" guys, they weren't too friendly. I may have the wrong guy, but the name seems familiar.

Don't know. Marv is usually friendly win or loose. Black guy. Bald. Never shuts up lol. All his cars were painted white and purple. Drove a silver Honda mini van for a loong time. If you did win I'm surprised . He usually pretty hard to beat.

Yup I've beat that funny car down the track several times =P ha. He's a good guy. I sold my funny car, fastest .12 motor at that time to someone up north then it made its way around and now Mike barge has it. I still have his info around.

I don't know. I did see him out at the Crandall drag strip just a couple months ago. Caught up with him a little bit.

I started with Marv back when he was in Addison. Then moved to the college. Then a couple other places after that. You've most likely seen or met me. Jason. White guy. Was always under marvs tent with the crazy fast hpi sedan. I ran like a black and green saleen s7 body for the longest time.

Ah. Sounds somewhat familiar. We raced with them for about 2 or 3 years but stopped as they were moving to the college. Ran at the college only a few times.

I think at one point I swiped ur sedan as a prank to make you think someone stole it.
