That car is right in line with what Ford was doing with the Mustang / GT40 connection at the outset of the Total Perforamance era.

I don't know what to think about that. I want to like it, but its got waaay too much going on for me. Its design is rather confusing.

The only factory metal on that car is the doors, you could count those out too because the mirrors are shaved.

I like it. And it's not like they stripped a perfectly good GT for it's drivetrain - the GT was wrecked(I assume beyond reasonable repair).

The little details, like the side scoops being active, really make me like it even more. I'm not a huge fan of the wheels, but they were made to copy the originals.

Although they said 5-spokes were overdone, I think it would have looked better with newer mach 1 style wheels(or something similar)

I think they said the FGT engine was from a wrecked car with only 200 miles on it. With all the money ($$$) & Parts (FGT, C6, Lambo, Motec, etc) & time (3 years) it took to build that thing, I'd think they could have come up with much a cooler concept rather than a '69 Mustang... (and I love '69 'stangs).
