On my phone or else I'd do all the editinghttp://lawrence.craigslist.org/cto/3380859656.html

Just noticed the "Going to check it out tomorrow" in your post. Let me know if you pass on it.

      75k on a rotary...not really low mileage.

pretty sure it's low mileage for the vehicle... not sure if you're trying to be a dick or only pointing out mileage on the rotary. My assumptions lead me to believe it's you trying to be a dick as you've paid no attention to the other comments in the thread about a swap. A clean car like this isn't easy to come by.

SVO I'm not trying to stop anyone else. I wouldn't have put it on here if I was worried about people stepping my toes on purchasing it although I appreciate the courtesy.

On a 93+ or rx8, yes thats high mileage but the 12a and 13b in the 80's era cars will pretty well run forever if taken care of. One of mine had 260k on it still kicking just fine. The guy I sold it to still drives it and has over 300k on it now. With the exception of the rx8, n/a rx7s are reliable cars.

That's true if they're maintained. I use to see 12a and 13b cars come in all the time with apex seal problems.

I had 135K on the original engine on my 04 RX8. It was running great, no flooding or compression issues.

I have an 85 base model RX-7 with 320k on the original engine; the compression is perfect on all faces and the whole car looks nearly new. I also have an 85 13B from a GSL SE that has had a blower on it since the late 80s and 280 or so hp at the wheels and it is still going strong.

Most perceived apex seal problems have nothing to do with the apex seals.

I'd like to see that blown 13b. About 15 years ago I had a gsl-se with a blower on it. Fun car. Sold it cause the condenser on the fb's is really small and the a/c sucks unless your on the highway. I'd have a wet back every time I got out of this thing driving in town. Sold it for a Corvette.

had one with a 12a I street ported in and had holley 4 barrel carb, exhaust etc.
fun little cars, no not super fast though, handling great on this light balanced car

then i had a gsl-se that I put a 5.0 / AOD in it. It had 185 tires on the back and was squirrelly as hell. The 306 was good for about 350 hp i build, but the slushbox with a shift kit just made it worse for breaking out the rear end.
Ended up wrecking up, ruining the body, and 3 wheels after only 2 weeks of driving it.
It would have badly needed bigger tires, and a different suspension setup to make it awesome.
Fun car though with that much power, way too much rediculous fun apparently!
