I was happy with... no, I was borderline proud of what my car has become in just 6 months, especially knowing that it started as a pile of parts... and I've even done some amateur metalworking that Ithought was pretty good.

But now I feel worthless. I think I might just pack it up and call it a day.



At 25 yrs old, and with an original 1940 Willys to measure and model from, this guy handformed a whole body in aluminum... in 9 months


As someone else said, "I can't get bondo to look half that good."


I think people like this were put on Earth just to keep the rest of us humble.

It will take me a little while to get it running, because I want to put in an 572 aluminum hemi and thats going to put a serious dent in my wallet. Then Once that is done I have a 36' 3 Window that I need to work on. Its quite a project with about 5 different cars going into it to make it a 3 window. (I had to do what I could because I cant afford to fork out $10,000 to get an origional.)

As for things from scratch I was thinking of doing a copper 34' bobber pickup. I have done some things out of copper and I thing that would be a fun project.
