Congrats! Stay honest and fair and your shop will continue to grow faster than you can imagine. Those two attributes are a rare commodity these days which is sad.

That just went away becuse he decided $780 to put a carb and distributor and rewire the electrical system and install an electric fan and install a thermostatic controller and make the temp gauge and make the speedo work and overhaul the front brakes was too much money.
Car sat for 5 years and rats ate chit and the carb is so coroded that I said it needs a new one..... he said if I could do it for $200 I could. LOL. Freakin diagnostics would have cost him that anywhere else!

Now on that same note I know where 6 65-66 Coupes are at. Three look readily salvagable and three could be restored with talent and cash. I have no idea the road cause I just stumbled on it but if anyone wanted to take a look, just stop by and I can show you how to get there..... I think. I know I could at least drive you there.

Here are a couple pics.... that suck. I thought I could see the cars better but behind the bushes there are three coupes.... and two Preludes LOL. The next picture you can see two more coupes plus .... not sure what that other car is? Torino maybe?
But the dude lives next door and has another on jack stands and two more Honda Preludes.
I bet he would at least sell ya a Prelude.

Since the pics are big I will put them in the next post.

looks like a couple of '67-68's in those pictures.

Good work with the shop man. Sink or swim will make a man outta you! I know people that make six figures that would honestly envy you. They just don't have the balls/skills/patience.

Thanks for the info. This would be a project for my Dad. He's looking for one in about the condition of the one that was at your shop. I'll shoot him the pics and see if he's interested in a trip out there.

Third car in the second pic looks like maybe a '71 Charger.

Thanks again people for the congrats and support. Its been hard but it feels great to have accomplished something. I cant believe how busy I have gotten. Since this thread my lot has doubled in cars and people just keep coming. Was trying to stay late to finnish two cars yesterday because I am so backed up today but some old dudes G6 locked the AC comp and shredded his belt. Lucky for him I was working late (was 7pm) so I got him in and fixed up. He was all the way from Dallas so his tow bill would have been nuts. Will prolly never see him again but he was thrilled I was willing to drive in to town and get parts (my deliveries stop at 5:30) and get his car back on the road for him.

I was exhausted but still went home with a smile on my face.

Are locked up A/C clutches getting to be more common these days? I mean compressors lock up all the time, but I had not heard of the clutch locking up until it happened to me this year and I seem to have heard about it more and more.

Actually it happens like crazy! In front of my shop I have had an 02 F-150, 06 Pontiac G6 and a 1980 ElCamino all lock the compressor and pop the belts. Had two other cars about to do it but I cought them before they did dammage.
                                Compressors lock up a lot.

I really only joke about hiring people. I like our two man shop. I may hire a guy for a few hours a week to clean because I just dont have the time and HATE a dirty shop. I end up stayin till 9 just cleaning up tools and spills.
